“I can’t believe autumn is here already,” Wufei murmured from his perch on top of the chair. He was rummaging in the closet and he extended a hand so Treize could pass him the stack of summer clothes neatly folded on the bed. They were to be replaced by sweaters and other warmer items.

“The year is flying by isn’t it?” Treize agreed. “Oh and if you see my favorite wine-colored sweater in there would you bring it down? Well, I should say your favorite sweater since you end up wearing it more than I do.”

Wufei sneezed as he jumped down with the last armful of autumn and winter clothes. “I don’t wear it all the time. Just some of the time because it’s so comfortable.”

“Mmm hmm.” Treize didn’t sound convinced at all.

Wufei shot him a glare and Treize laughed, tugging his husband into his arms. The sweaters tumbled to the floor and Treize flowed with them, pulling Wufei onto the soft pile of brightly colored wool. Their lips brushed, retreated and lingered again.

Wufei wrapped his arms around Treize’s neck. “I hope you plan on helping me wash these after this.”

“Of course, though when I think of it we really don’t need sweaters.” Treize smiled. ” Not when I have plenty of other ways to keep you warm.”
